International Certifications are approved to offer the ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices (WSMP Audit) Program, this has been developed by ACC to recognise those organisation’s actively managing health and safety in the workplace.

The requirements of the program are based upon AS/NZS 4801:2001, a standard for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management Systems.

In addition to meeting their legislative, regulatory and social responsibilities, those organizations operating effective OHS could potentially save up to 20% off their ACC Workplace Cover premiums.

The program has been structured to encourage continual improvement in health and safety and rewards compliance at three levels, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary, with discounts of 10%, 15% and 20% respectively. The discount is applied for two years from the issue of a certificate from ACC.

In all cases ACC will make the final decision on the level of discount awarded based upon the recommendation of the independent auditor.
